About
Holistic wellness rooted in mindful daily practice and self care rituals
My Practice
Hi! I’m Lisa and I am so happy you are here. I’m a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist, Licensed Esthetician (LE #17283), Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (LMBT #12700) and Certified Aromatherapist specializing in lymphatic care and holistic skincare.
During my initial lymphatic studies, I was introduced to a concept referred to as “the long journey.” It is a sequence in manual lymphatic drainage with slow, repetitive and sequential steps that move forward and then back to accomplish a specific goal. It is called the long journey because it takes time, patience and mindfulness to get there. That is how I feel about my own journey into becoming the wellness therapist I am today.
In my younger years, I struggled with various skin conditions that left my skin red, itchy and inflamed most of the time. I tried all of the things…topical treatments and medicines that would help, but only temporarily. As a young adult, my need to meet society’s standards encouraged me to continue fighting against my body and it’s inherent nature of where it was meant to be.
Now, after many years of practicing and studying holistic wellness, I have to come to the realization, just like that “long journey” in my lymph studies, that time, patience and mindfulness is the best approach for my wellness needs and skincare.
This is the same approach I strive to bring to others. I want to help you be an active participant in your own healthcare and encourage you to take a wholistic approach to health and beauty. I view the skin as a reflection of our own internal health and wellbeing. My goal is to help you live a healthy, wholistic life utilizing regular massage, lymphatic drainage and organic skincare as a tool for self-awareness and healing.
My focus for treatment is always to nourish, support, protect and help re-align the mind-body connection so that deeper healing can occur. I hope to inspire, empower and equip you to feel your best everyday.
I believe that self care is as much psychological as it is physical. When we integrate our self care into our daily practices, and truly enjoy the ritual of listening to our bodies, our body speaks to us. When we listen, we begin to heal.
I view self care as a ritual
I believe that education is the key to truly understanding how the care we put into our bodies can enact real change in the challenges our bodies face. I take courses all throughout the year that enhance my practice.
I pursue education
I prioritize natural
I believe that the most sustainable and impactful solutions come from natural sources. I prioritize the use of organic materials and holistic practices to create an environment where your body can truly reconnect with the natural world.
